Our services cover heat pumps, solar PV, battery storage, and EV chargers—helping customers take meaningful steps towards a cleaner, more sustainable future.

Our founder brings over 30 years of experience in the energy sector, having successfully built a traditional plumbing and heating company that now employs over 30 people and serves customers across Scotland. This depth of knowledge, combined with our dedicated renewable energy team, means we can provide advice, installation, and long-term support for the latest energy technologies.

While many companies only offer installation services, very few provide specialist servicing and repairs for renewable systems. This often leaves customers without the support they need to keep their investment running smoothly, or to maintain essential warranties. At O’Neil Green Energy, we fill that gap. We don’t just install—we maintain and repair your system for years to come, giving you confidence and peace of mind.

Based in Ayr, our operations are powered entirely by clean, renewable energy, and our offices are net zero. We believe that companies in this sector should practice what they preach, and sustainability is at the heart of everything we do.

First of its kind-Our Green Energy House

Why tell people how they can be more energy efficient when you can show them. We have invested tens of thousands of pounds in a purpose-built low carbon technologies show home, our Green Energy house, positioned within the ground of our headquarters in Ayr. The first of its kind in the private sector in Scotland.

Our Green Energy House replicates living spaces you would expect to see in a regular home and demonstrates how the latest energy saving equipment can be easily incorporated into people’s everyday lives.

The Green Energy House is fully interactive with a variety of renewable products and is open for free for schools, colleges and members of the public eager to educate themselves on how they can make the transition away from fossil fuel products.

We wanted to provide an educational space for school children to learn about energy efficiency, inspiring them to pursue careers in renewables which is key if we want to reach net zero & to create more highly paid jobs in the local area.

The facility also serves as a training base for our engineers. Manufacturers train our staff in our Green Energy House & training hub on the products we fit, ensuring that our engineers receive the very highest level of training and the practical experience of fitting these products in a replica home before they come to yours. The space can also used by many manufacturer & the public sector to display fully working products to many larger clients & we hope our Green Energy House & Training facility will make a positive impact to the local economy over the coming years.
